    Hi,

    just a quick question:
I am thinking about replacing the stock 5400rpm HDD with a SSD to increase the overall performance of my Asus UL80VT.
However, I am not sure if this will actually be worth it, as I don't know if the CPU or the HDD are the actual bottleneck of this Laptop.

Basically whenever I have a lot of programs open, e.g.: browser, email client, office & vmware client, then the HDD will be quite busy and switching between the apps suddenly slows down noticeably.
The memory usage is below the max and the cpu usage is usually low to medium as well during those slowdowns, so my guess is that the HDD speed is causing it.

Any Asus UL80 owners here with a SSD, who could comment whether it's worth it to replace the stock disk with a SSD?

    Thanks.
