I like the 30 because its 13in. but I want to know if there are any differences between the two besides the screen size. Any performance related differences.

The UL80 has an optical drive. Size-wise, look at the specs given by the dealers, there is an added girth, for obvious reasons being the screen size and the optical drive.
Besides that, most of the UL series are identical in hardware, SU7300, 4gb RAM, 320-500gb HD. -
Thank you very much, that's really what I needed to know. I don't know if notebookreview is allowed to provide deals aside from Amazon, but newegg doesn't sell the UL30 with Geforce 210M. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other good non-taxing companies that would sell it.

Atm the Ul30vt-X1 is the only one with the 210m, and its exclusive for amazon. There are rumors that other retailers will get the A1 version sometime, but nothing is confirmed or no preorders to know when its gonna be out if it will be.

Amazon is the only place that sells the UL30VT. At least for now, no one knows when they will be available, but from what discussions over at Amazon, won't be til after the new year.
