    Hey guys,

Do you think you could replace the optical drive in one of these laptops for an enclosure and put another hard drive in it?

What size is the drive (9.5 or 12.7)? Does the optical drive have a sata connector?

Here's a site that provides enclosures. It doesn't seem to be too difficult to take the laptop apart but I could be wrong.

Thanks in advance for your advice. :)

    jeffyhui88, that's great news!

How much work was it to remove an existing optical drive and put a caddy in? I assume you had to take laptop apart.

    thanks!
