Can you guys clarify the default partitions on the Asus UX31a?

There is a 4gb partition that does not hold windows. What is it for and can I get rid of it to recoup the space?

There is also a 10gb partition that holds the recovery software. Can I get rid of it once I make recovery ISOs and or DVDs using the AI program?

    Thanks
