Ever since i upgraded to Windows 8 i've been having a lot of trouble using the touchpad. I downloaded the Asus Smart Gesture driver/software from the support page and it added gestures again. It also didn't solve/added some problems:

    • Very slow scrolling in Google Chrome browser
    • Continues scroll when i two-finger scroll down/up on a page and it keeps going for a second after i've released my fingers
    • Detects the smallest amount of touching on the bottom part of the touchpad where my finger lies ready to press the left or right click key, resulting in scrolling instead of moving the mouse around

Has anyone found settings or a solution to this? It bothers me so much that i hate using my laptop now.

What version of Asus Smart Gesture do you have installed? I also installed Windows 8 managed to get the correct driver. I'll post the version later today.
