    Hi,

Having issues with the Asus UX32A which seems to be entering sleep mode even when in use. Basically the screen goes off while open and in use. If the screen is moved slightly down towards the almost closed position, the computer comes out of sleep mode which is really strange. I have gone through all the power plans, and options and disabled sleep yet this still happens. This happens on battery or plugged in.

However I am starting to think this may not be a driver or OS issue (windows 8). At one time the computer appeared to be off completely after this happened. I could not get it to do anything when hitting the power button. So I brought the screen down to the almost down position and hit the power key and voila it booted up.

Have not experienced that behavior since but still definitely get the random sleep modes while in windows which can happen a few times in a min and then not for an hour or so.

Has anyone experienced this with this product or other Asus products and found a solution?

    Thanks.
