Interested in this laptop as an ultraportable. Does anyone know of any serious flaws this has, since it seems tempting with 16GB RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe drive at $1299. If anyone owns it, please tell me your likes and dislikes about it.

I don't own it, but I played with one for a while at a local Micro Center since its one of the few <4 lb convertibles with discrete graphics and pen support. My quick thoughts:
- The body is really well made for being as light as it is. The brushed metal look definitely picks up fingerprints quite badly but otherwise feels premium.
- The keyboard is average. Touchpad feel is great, but the drivers don't feel like normal Windows precision drivers...it doesn't quite feel as accurate as normal windows precision drivers.
- It appears the NVMe drive is either a poor quality one or has some other odd firmware behavior going on. I benchmarked reads at 2000+ mb/s but writes wouldn't go over 300mb/s
- The display looks okay when a static image is displayed, but there seems to be both pretty bad ghosting and poor black levels. Also, when I set it to half brightness, it is clearly using PWM to dim the display. I admit, I am extremely sensitive to PWM brightness dimming, but I was also in a showroom with lots of overhead lights and it was still pretty obvious to me.
- I was really intrigued by the pen support, but the sales person didn't have the Asus pen to try it. I'm not sure what digitizer tech is being used, but it also wouldn't respond to the Bamboo ink or Galaxy note 8 pens I brought along to try it out.
