I bought 2 V1S....one for me and one for a customer.

    Both couldn't shutdown,reboot and hibernate.

Mine was suddently able to shutdown, reboot and hibernate...I didn't do anything special ....no reinstall, no drivers reinstalled, no new bios (mine was 206)....i RMA this unit because the main battery was only 78% when full.

My customer had the same shutdown, reboot and hibernate problem and in the meantime the 208 BIOS came, but that did not solve the problem, so this was also shipped to ASUS for RMA.

I dosen't matter bluetooth is on or off before restarting/shut down...
I didn't connect any other hardware by bluetooth, but I don't know why, windows is trying to find four "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" but he can't find anything...

Thank you for all you write :) I hope that we will solve my problem...

I thinking: is it possible that same software don't want to free memory and system can't power off computer... is it possible?

SuperPac: In regards to the battery check out the battery wear thread, that problem has affected a few users, it disapeers when fully draining the battery and recharging it.

The original battery was ok until I bought the bay-battery....was running on both battery when it suddently shut down system after 1 hour and the main battery was not able to fully charge.

Edit: the original battery is not able to charge at all. Computer shuts down when I unplug the power-cord.

    In BIOS:
    1. No battery calibration option when original battery is alone.
    2. Battery calibration is available for the bay-battery when attached.

No, I used 1 day to install the system for his network (he pays me - I am a consultant) So this is not an option. Who will pay me for another day installing the system ??

    This should be Asus problem.

I notice that this problem is shows when COMPUTER IS CHARGING BATTERY.
When battery is 100% and AC adpter is plug in, problem doesn't show. The same on battery mode. Problem is showing when I work on buttery, pluging the ac-adapter, and on charging mode i try to shut down or restart.
