    Asus V1s, Backlight repeatedly brightens against settings

    Hi all, I use vista business and the V1s, I have all the latest drivers and updates, but since I got this notebook, The backlight will always reset itself to the brightest setting, it dosent matter what tasks im running but usually after 3 or 4 minutes the backlight will go from whatever setting I have it at, To the brightest setting, This goes against the Power4gear settings and the vista power settings, nothing in particular seems to cause it but it always happens and it really screws over my battery life. Any ideas how to fix it?.
