Does anyone know what is the difference between
    V2Je-4S018E and
    V2Je-4S029E?

Those models are available in Norway and in Poland. The retailers here and there are not able to tell what's in the box - if it has 2 batteries or docking station or HSDPA.
Both are with Vista Business, 2 GB of RAM and 160 GB HD. The price is around USD 2300.

Okay, personal opinion, graphics seem a bit last gen, and why not Vista Home Premium or Ultimate?

I know I'm not saying anything ground-breaking. I just like it when people agree with me.

So come on people... concur. :)

The poor graphics and Vista Business makes perfect sense from a business consumers perspective.

But having said that, a sub par graphics card AND a piss weak battery life is kind of stupid..

I'm looking for the air/auto adapter tip that would fit the V2Je.
I tried searching the targus website, but didn't happen to find any information.

Would anyone know if the V1J has the same tip?

I just got my V2je today and so far everything is ok. Except:

1.Vista seems to be more unstable compared to XP. It aready showed some errors while installing new software.

    2. I cannot turn on the wireless function using Fn + F2. Do you know how can I fix it?

    Thank you!

Yeah I dont like Vista at all.

I am currently running XP but i dont think there were drivers listed for the bluetooth and webcam.. although the v1 has them listed and it would probably work.

nghminh.. do you have wireless console open (blue circular icon in systray)

drawing that much power seems wrong to me. assuming the 9 cell battery is the same as the 9 cell in the F3t (cos I've seen that one) its 71watt hours.

    71/3.05 = 23.3 watts.

I find it rather hard to believe that the CPU would be using so much power as other notebooks with the same CPU dont suffer like that.(or do they?)

so that x1450 or the motherboard chipset is obviously eating that battery nicely.

can someone get some program on there to underclock the GPU and see if that helps a lot. maybe its stuck in 3D mode (not dropping clock when in 2d mode) like the nvidia 8*** series of GPUs hense their delay.

    insane

Double check and possibly reinstall Hcontrol, ATK0100, and Wireless Console.

    1. Vista ran fine for me, but I prefer XP much more, since it is more stable, faster, and easier to use in my opinion. (because we are so used to it)

demenion, for your bluetooth, you need to get Wireless Console and Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.

As for the Webcam, make sure the device is not disabled in the device manager. Then install LifeFrame and then run LifeFrame and it should work.

I've tried ATK0100 and Wireless Console on the driver disc but I haven't seen Hcontrol. Anyway, I still don't know how to turn my wireless on.

The webcam works perfectly for me but I don't know what's going on with the wireless

    Thank you for any suggestion!
