I have a gateway m680 and am thinking of selling it and switching over to the asus camp. Has anyone seen both the gateway m680 and asus z70va screens and can give me a good comparison of the two? The only thing that is holding me back from selling my gateway is how beautiful the glossy screen is while the z70va has a matte screen. I don't know how much of a downgrade it would be. Any opinions?

The z70va is one of the best screens ive ever seen period. its not glossy so it does look different. But it is very bright with great color and can be seen in the sun as well its the best matte screen ive ever had. i have an asus W2V and i miss the z70v screen.

    I honestly can't say, I've never seen the m680.

Glossy screens are the best to some, matte is the best to others - it's your opinion.
