    Asus VX2s Availability

    When is this thing going to be released? If it is not out next week I believe I am going to order the Macbook Pro. I am 95% sure I am going to order the MBP but there is still a 5% that could lead me to purchase the Asus Lamborghini VX2S. Does anybody have any clue when it is going to be out? Also I have three concerns about this notebook. From what I have seen it will have the following:
    -Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 or T7700 Santa Rosa Processor
    -2gbs of Ram
    -160gb or 200gb hard drive
    -8600m DX10 video card

    Those are the most important specs that I believed are all but confirmed. Now the following is what concerns me.

    Before you say well the MBP does not have any of that, I know that. I just wont go with the VX2 when a VX2S is coming out with the probability of having the following:

    -A Blu-Ray drive
    -An HDMI port(Which goes hand in hand with the Blu-ray drive)
    -An e-sata port

    On the macbook pro it has a DVI port, and an expresscard slot that can do an esata expresscard. That knocks two problems out. But the only thing that can't be solved is that of a Blu-ray drive.

    SO THE QUESTION STILL REMAINS! Will the VX2S be coming out soon. Because on the nexus13 website it says end of June. However today is the last day of June so that is wrong. So if you have any information about the laptop and its availability please post it here.

    Odds are you will only see 2 of the above in the states. expect sometime in late july or august

    I really wanted a VX2S as well, but I couldn't wait, so I went with the 2.4GHz MBP and I honestly think that I made the right choice. The only down side to the VX2S, aside from high sticker price, is that it is fairly heavy especially when compared to the MBP.
