    Yes it is :D maybe here are people who hate Vista (i guest 40% of them) and have changed Vista to XP. So Vista's recovery DVD is unnecessary for them ;-)

    I don't really know what you wish?

    If you own an ASUS notebook and lost the recovery DVD, say so. Otherwise a recovery DVD from someone else would be:
    1. Illegal.
    2. Useless, because it does hardware checks to verify it's in the correct computer before starting.
