    Hi all,

I just got my Vivobook S400CA with Windows 8, and I'm having some problems with the internet.

When I about 10meters away from the modem, blocked perhaps by 1 thin partition, the internet slows down to a crawl despite having a 4/5-bar signal. My other computer placed just beside gets at least 10x faster internet from the same modem.
However, when i move the S400CA closer to the Modem, the internet speed jumps back to normal.

    Help?

The S400CA uses the the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG wireless adaptor. Could that be the problem?
    The driver version is 10.0.0.205.

    Thanks!
