    Hi,

I have recently purchased the Asus Wv1c notebook, and would like to format and install WinXP Pro on it.

The current configuration has 2 HD partitions (C & D), but there is also a hidden partion (F) that I can see in the disk management. Is it safe to delete this partition? Will deleteing this affect the 'Instant On' feature?

    Please advise. :asus:

You can change it to one without deleting the hidden partition, but the hidden one is just for a copy of the recovery disks...... You shouldn't have a problem, but leaving 2 partitions is usually suggested in case you ever need to format out the OS without losing all your documents and unrecoverable stuff.
