    Hey,

For some reason certain parts of the library here at my University like to kick me off...Which is annoying, but fine I can always reconnect right? Wrong...

Most areas in the library are fine and I don't get kicked off (which doesn't help, because I'm always in the section where I do get kicked off). I'm often with friends and they never get kicked off, it's isolated to me (and I've reformatted which had absolutely no affect)

I've been to the ASUS Site for pro/instelset drivers and they're the same old ones I have; I'm not sure where I need to go to get the latest because the intel site is very cumbersome.

    This is the important part:

The disconnects truly wouldn't be a problem, but after the disconnect I can't reconnect; it simply won't even pick up networks and it says my radio is turned off (even if it's listed as turned on) At this point I can't even switch to my windows network finder because it can't find networks either b/c the radio is supposedly turned off. Even if I go into the network connections and disable/re-enable the connection it doesn't work; it still says it's disconnected or the radio is off.

Further more if I log off of windows and came back (on my account, or some other account) I'm plagued with the same problems. That's right, every time I get kicked off (which is about every 10-15 minutes if not sooner) I have to completely reboot my computer if I want to get back on the internet.

Obviously me getting kicked off is probably a fault between the University's connection and my computer; but the not being able to connect is isolated to my computer and thats the problem I'm trying to solve.

Try downloading and running a program called "NetStumbler". Post a screenshot of the available networks at the location with your issue. Let the computer pick up signals at the location for a couple minutes before taking the screenshot.
