I am thinking of getting a w3j from geared2play, but i can't seem to find any benchmarks on the core duo 2 t5500 cpu.Is it much slower than the w3js with the old core duo t2500?I can get both for about the same price so which would you guys recommend?Anyone know of any sites with 5500 benchmarks comared to the older core duos? Thanks for any help.

Sorry, no benchmarks, but I heard it's as fast as the T2400.

i ordered the t5500 w3j. should be here tuesday. the general reaction from benchmarks is that it performs somewhere between the t2400 and the t2500. In actual usage, you shouldn't notice much of a difference between the old model and the new. that is unless you are using 64-bit apps or a 64-bit os.
