    Hi,
I use the laptop with an external CRT (Iiyama Vision Master Pro 452), which supports a 1280x1024 resolution with 85Hz (worked fine with my previous laptop).

However, with my Asus W5A (S/N: 53NP..), I cannot set the resolution (under windows xp sp2 )to this. I can choose from 1280x800 and 1280x768, but not 1280*1024. The only 4:3 resolutions available are 800x600, 1024x768, 1856x1392, 1920x1440 and 2048x1536. Apparently the resolutions between 1024x768 and 1856x1392 are missing.

I don't think the graphics adapter (Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS) is not capable if doing this resolution, so please tell me how to fix this.
