I was wondering if it would be possible to switch out the camera. The quality just is not as good as my external web camera. Thanks!

It's integrated. It's not supposed to be high quality, it's VGA I think.

    Simple answer is no.

Quality on my U3s 1.3mp webcam is crap as well unless there is a light right in my face.

Couldn't agree with you more. The webcam that came in my F3 is garbage. Grainy and just outright bad. Got a 1.3 MSI 370i external and it is far and away a better quality. As far as Asus goes. Webcam is garbage and Realtek Audio is complete garbage. So that probably helps keep the cost low compared to other manufacturers. Happy with my laptop but those two are the worst problems out of every other notebook I've seen or used. Maybe a driver fix or update to resolve these but currently using newest drivers. Also Asus Camera Screensaver causes flash.ocx error. Fixed it once by googling it and same problem after a restart. Beginning to wonder about Asus R&D department!
