... two days late.. and two dollars short... but that's ok... and who said we're getting a whitebox version? Every whitebox system this year is based on a brand new chassis and will not be shared with an ensemble models....... Are you talking about a dedicated graphics version of the Z35? If so, I think that's waaaaaay down the road.. like end of the year at best - which we all know gives it like a 20/80 shot of happening.

ah oh well these things should be stickied. You have an eta on it........Thats playing it safe. I was actually talking about the z35. Obviously they wont make it with dedicated card but who cares. most of the people interested in this model will want the lower price and wont care much for the dedicated card.

the specs are unconfirmed is the simple case but most probably will be dual core. They wont be much of a success if its not.

"Dont even know if this will even make it to the states really"

    G2P - you weren't referring to the W7j, correct?

This waiting on a 13" is an emotional rollercoaster.

Yeah, just so we were on the same page... the Z35f is confirmed.. the ETA isn't though because distribution said they need to sell out of their Z33ae's before they'll buy Z35f's... and therefore, Asus is holding them so people don't have an option.......... They do have them in Fremont though... they just won't release them.

All distis already sold the z33ae. They are numbered in the ones and twos. Confirmed means its in fremont. From the past w2j was confirmed with a wsxga screen and probably a dozen other confirmed unconfirmed mishapps in just the past year. As of now these are not confirmed but the w7j is said to be in "soon". Can be much later then sooner if the tren follows. Fact here is no eta is ever acurate until it actually arrives in fremont. Enjoy your wait in the meantime

Justin, is the 1499.00 price for the W7J a real price for a real notebook that you are just waiting to get in stock?
