my 6cell battery isnt cutting it anymore and been looking to replace it with the 9cell battery but finding one in my area has been a hit or miss.. someone told me that the 9cell/12cell asus M5A battery would work on the W7J because they are the same thing?... is this true or should i stick to finding a 9cell battery thats specifically designed for the W7J...

any help would be appreciated. thanks

The 9-cell battery for M5n is intended for the W5/M5/Z33/z35 series - I doubt it would fit well, if at all, in the totally different W7 chassis.

If you want to get the 9-cell for the W7 from a reputable reseller around here, check the direct link to BTOTech's website. It's a bit more, but you get the peace of mind purchasing from a real Asus dealer :). Notebook batteries are never cheap, and if you find one that is you should ask yourself why before you take it.....
