    Asus W7S (White) Laptop display issue

    Hey guys,
    I got my hands on a used discarded dual core W7S in great shape but the video is kinda wonky. I hooked it up to a external display and this is what I see.

    Any ideas what is busted?

    Hmm you think Reseating the vid card would work? ie baking the board?

    I think you mean reflowing, reseating is just taking the card out and putting it back in.

    It could work, since it's an 8-series card that suffers from underfill, but I'm not sure if it is an actual dedicated card or integrated onto the motherboard. If it's on the motherboard you can try a reflow with a heat gun or torch and aluminum foil...
