    Asus W7S B2W
Anyone bought this model? Is it better than A1W? Is the memory expandable to 2.5?

Minor CPU upgrade from T7300 to T7500, and the memory is upgradable to 2.5GB. Thanks!

Somebody mentioned a while ago that the B2 models are supposed to be cooler than the A1, but I haven't seen anything else about it.

That is a good question for the What Notebook Should I Buy? forum. Don't forget to fill out the FAQ.

Personally, I don't think the B2 has enough of an advantage over the A1 to warrant the price difference.

Yes, those ram will work perfectly (as long as they are DDR2 200 pin SODIMMs). 667mhz is also ideal for the W7S. Max ram is 2.5gb - I'm using that right now.
As for heat issues, my w7S-B2W does run warm, but its just as warm as any other 15" or smaller notebooks with a dedicated graphics card.
Also, the W7S-B2W does have the santa rosa chip.
