    Hi,

I've seen two conflicting reports on the Asus website in regards to the number of days one has to implement a WEP for a 3rd year extension on a 2 year warranty notebook. So which is correct 30 or 90 days? Thanks in advance.

Actually, I would like to know this as well. Asus has 2 websites, one stating 30 days and the other 90 days.

    30 Days
    90 days

Maybe an Asus reseller could help shed some light on this issue.

when I bought the wep on top of the package says to activate in the first 90 days of purchase of your notebook, and I did the activation at like 70 something days from purchase

i dont think either one applies. if you purchased an ext package and there is ever confusion or you forgot to register you can always talk to management. ot doesnt take a genius to pull their database and figure out when the 2yr expires, the 3rd year simply extends that 1 more year.

Does anyone know if Asus would sell me an extended warranty about a year and a half after I buy my laptop? Or does it have to be bought within that 90 day period? I'd like to have 3 years of warranty, but due to money issues right now, I can't afford the extra warranty. By the middle of 2010, I should have enough money saved up for an extended warranty. I bought my N50 back in November of 2008, by the way.
