    hi guys...

    dont know about u but i'm getting serious flickering on my external monitor...

    i've seen in other forums ppl have the same issues... (with different notebooks_

    happens when the power is plugged in...

    if i run off the batt the flicker goes away...

    looks like a power leak issue

    anyone experienced the same thing/have a solution??

    I get the same thing, its apparently a grounding issue, or dirty power!

    Yes, you should make sure both the laptop and the LCD are Grounded properly.
    Apart form flickering, this might cause serious damage to your laptop.

    ok question is how do i solve it???

    was looking at getting one of those 200aud dollar belkin surge protectors...
    but i only want to invest that amount IF it solves it...
