    I might buy a one month old Asus from an individual...Is the warranty transferable to me if it is one of the Newegg models of the M51ta? Thanks!

    No, warranty cannot be transferred if he had already registered with ASUS.

    Are you sure? :confused: I could swear that the warranties are transferable because you just register the serial number...?

    The warranty follows laptop. So it's transferable.

    To second this, yes it is transferable. Make sure you have the orginal sales receipt.

    I called and e-mail ASUS on this just recently.
