Not many new and unseen notebooks were revealed in July/Aug's edition of Asus World Magazine, but for those interested, here's the entire notebook chapter and parts of the EeePC section from the magazine.

So the u80 will eventually be able to have more powerful processors than the base t6500 or whatever they are quoting now. Good to know, but I'd guess we won't see such an ability to customize the laptop till the end of the summer

    Thanks David!
I always like when you post these :D
    It's a little disappointing to only see a 130M in the VX-5.
It needs a 260M GTX in it, but it does look fantastic.
Are these all US model release and when can we start to see them?
The new N10 also caught my eye...

    Thanks DAvid +Rep

WOW that M60 looks great! If i was looking at an entertainment notebook right NOW that would be my first choice really really nice.

I also gotta say like before i really like the UX30 and the U20 I wish they had better gPU's though(Not much you can do with the from factor i guess)

Two more things, the S121 is FINALLY coming out after I posted about that thing like months ago lol. No 512gb SSD option? I wonder what happened there. Also wan't the K series suppose to have a 4860? The lineup looks grea though. What can i say Asus knows how to sell a notebook.

Thats great though :D I mean I've seen the results of 105 vs 9300 and it seemed to be pretty big. Like 2000 vs 2500.

This would be great to play like Counter Strike and stuff on the go.

Yeah, and one thing I've always been curious about is if a 4GB stick of ram would work in the N10 or any other eeePC :p

I think if you can get this new netbook plus windows 7 it will be an amazing deal. Because RAM will be a non factor unlike in windows Vista......

Who knows maybe these new ones can take 4GB

Don't know "nuttin" about the new notebooks (I'm pretty content with my current stable), but am typing this on a brand new ASUS CG5290 desktop, and it is one sweet machine! You get a TON of power for very little money, it runs extremely cool and almost dead silent so if any of you gamers would like to about double your framerates for less than half the cost of an equivalent notebook like the W90-A1, take a gander at this beauty. Only disappointment so far: no wifi on board.

I'm pretty excited about the G60VX model myself. I read a few websites that stated it should be for sale very soon.

Have any links for those sites? I want to see how they're configuring the G60 versions.

The Lambo looks incredible but lacks any balls. :p
The 130M is nothing special it should at least come with a 240M but the 260GTX would have been ideal.
To have something associated with the lambo name you would think it would be something exotic and fast but in reality it's not.
It's like putting a 4 cyl. engine in a lambo, it limits it's performance potential.
I'm a little more interested in the N10

The U series looks alright but the UX really caught my attention when it was announced ages ago at CeBit. The combo of the gunmetal glossy finish and the matte grey finish around the keyboard really makes the UX notebooks stand out, compared to the all black the U series are sporting.

    Hey David,
I went to Taiwan last month and pick up one of these magazine for free. I would like to read these in my free time.
I wonder if there is a place that we can register for these and received it in the mail?
