Hi, I want to upgrade my x50c memory. Crucial say it has 2gb with 1 slot free that will take another 2gb. The problem I have is that it has no access panels on the bottom. Is it a whole base off job to get access to the ram slots?

    Thanks

    Jon

You can upgrade your ASUS X50C Notebook (DDR2-800MHz) Laptop to up to a maximum of 4GB RAM, the Laptop has 2 (2 banks of 1) to install RAM, already with 1GB standard RAM installed. For best Laptop performance use the maximum amount of allowed RAM per slot for your system.

The RAM position is most likely under the keyboard.
