Hi guys,
I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to Asus but I've been hearing about them quite a bit and after a bit of a websearch, I've sort of landed on an Asus notebook that really appeals to me (As far as the specs go anyways)
# Operating System: Windows XP Professional

# RAM: 1024MB DDR2 667 Memory
# Hard Drive: 120GB hard drive 5400 rpm

# Optical Drive: DVD±RW Supermulti
# Interfaces: 1x VGA port (D sub 15pin), 4x USB 2.0 ports, 2x Audio jack: Ear phone, Mic-in, 1x RJ45, 1x RJ11, 1 x PCMCIA
# Card Reader: 4 in 1 memory card slot (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro)
# Audio: Built-in Azalia compliant audio chip, with 3D effect & full duplex, SoundBlaster Pro Compatible, Build-in stereo speakers (1.5W)

I was wondering if some of you guys could give me an answer as to whether this is a good machine or not. I really can't go more than 420 pounds on the price as I'm a poor student![]()
Any help will be very much appreciated!
Cheers!
