Hi
I bought this notebook a week ago, and I have problem with screen.
It is a screen grid problem, when something moves on screen (for example game or movie) I see the diagonal grid/lines on screen in an angle of 45 degrees. It's really difficult to explain but this is really unconfortable when I play game or watch movie![]()
I try install new/old drivers for Intel Graphics and Nvidia Graphics (laptop specifications: Asus X53SV Intel Core i7-2670QM, Geforce GT 540M 1GB DDR3, 8GB RAM DDR3), and I still have problem with screen. I try other system (Ubuntu), and works on battery but it didn't help.
I found a similar problem, but on Sony Vaio:

Please help

Welcome, do you have a televison or external monitor you can connect the laptop to for testing?

Wow, I fell down a rabbit hole following http://forum.notebookreview.com/sony/300340-sony-sr-led-screen-diagonal-lines.html#post3935493
Still didn't find a pic of what you are talking about.
Does this only happen when the AC adapter is plugged in? And does it happen with any type of image, or only at a certain brightness?
