    Hi
Purchased the above couple of days ago
    the specs are
    320 g HD
    3 Gb Ram
    3 USB 2 Ports
    one shared USB 3
    Intel i5 Integraded GPU

I was wondering about the Ram their appears to be
    1 x 2 gig
    1 X 1 gig

Would it be safe to substitute a 4 ig stick for the 1 gig
making 6g would that be an imbalance ?

Other than that quite happy with the machine screen res could be higher but then it would cost more i suppose.
Noticed when I registerd the machine it coming up as K53e would that be the mother board their referring to.
As I bought this in the UK would it have a 2 Year Asus manufacturing warranty ?
    Thanks
    Ian H

The sticker on the bottom of your laptop should say how many months your warranty is.

You can mix RAM and it won't be an issue unless you are extremely concerned about benchmark numbers. The performance will not be noticeably different using two different sized sticks.
