I have been going through some of the settings on the Asus X556UA to try and increase the general size of icons on the screen. This has already been done from 125% which is the recommended default size, to 150%.

The default resolution has not been changed from 1920x1080 although Asus told me I could change this to anything under the aspect ratio of 16:9.

The main problem is that some of the application sizes are way too small e.g. the GUIs of Microsoft Office 2007 (especially that bit that pops up with the yellow Microsoft Office GUI), VLC Player etc. I know that there are settings in Windows 10 to change text size etc. but something doesn't seem right here and I really don't know what to do next. I thought Asus would have sorted this out through the factory settings setup but obviously not. I have been used to Toshiba laptops on 1366x768 but I didn't imagine that this change would be so dramatic.

If anyone has been through this before and achieved a result please let me know...
