    Hello there,

I have Asus X59SR and I have Battery problem. I just bought my new replacement battery and I use Windows 7 64 bit. The battery is charging to full really quickly and then, the battery discharges really quickly too.

I tried to do a battery calibration, but first there is no BIOS tool, so I took the battfm.exe. I run the program in DOS with Hiren Boot. The program is just showing Please plugin the AC adapter even when I plug it.

So, I'm asking for your help. What could be the problem with my new battery? Is the laptop discharging the battery quickly? Do I need a battery calibration? And if I do, please provide me step by step calibration. Those others are not working...

    Thanks a lot!

Did you buy a genuine ASUS battery or a generic replacement?
