    Hello,

I just bought a refurbished X83Vm-X1 and I am having a problem with the screen. Here is an image to show you. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

    Thank you,

    UPDATE

Well, I am sending this laptop to Asus for a RMA. Just waiting on them to review my receipt to verify that it is under warranty so that they pay for shipping. I wish I could of found a way to fix this quickly myself.

Looks like it was put in to power save mode <_<

At least that's the background the G50 uses when it's in Power Save.

ya, I had it in that mode for the light backround. The problem I am talking about is the Shadows at the top of the screen, those shouldn't be there.
