    Questions, 1. Can I play Half Life 2 well on the Asus Z70, 2. Can Iget it for around 1400 Bucks, 3. Which is the best z70 model. Thanks.

    You'll need to have a larger budget for the Z70va. You may be able to get a Z71v though.

    The x700 places HL2 pretty well.

    Different Z70v? The first 'Z70v' had x600 while the second 'Z70va' has a x700, I believe thats what you meant.

    X600 will play HL2 very well actually, with mine i play at 1440x900 on high settings.

    Well I priced one out and it came to about 1500 bucks. The thing is Im trying to sell my Powerbook to get one, and I think I could get about 1400 for it. So Im just trying to basically make a trade.

    Mine cost me $1327.53 I guess it's because i went with 740 instead of higher processor. It runs any game fine and is just as snappy as my friend's 760 ^_^

    well i can probably afford it. Im just scared if it breaks what I can do, there's some comfort in buying a dell laptop.

    lol, It shouldn't break..under normal conditions. I mean, if you treat it properly.. If there are any hardware issues, software issues, then that's what the reseller's support is for. Good luck in buying your laptop! I personall went with ISTNC.

    The X600 plays HL2 and CS:S on high graphics extremly well.
    You'll have no trouble with an X700.
