I don't know whether it's true or not. I've just discovered a new thing. After updating BIOS (version 0202A) and video driver for ATI X600, I found the video has 128MB of RAM, not 64MB. Can you believe it? Take a look at these pictures. YOU NEED TO COPY AND PASTE THOSE LINKS TO YOUR URL SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE PICS.

So, what do you guys think about this?

You'll find it is 64mb on chip, 64mb borrowed from main memory using hypermemory technology. You can read about it at www.ati.com

It's called hyper memory and we're been talking about it for months now. If you max out the system with 2mb of RAM, I think you can even get that get that to read 256mb.... with 192mb shared from the system
Thanks,
Justin

Ye i ran into the same new discovery. I thought we got a whole batch of these special turbo version of z70v's. Almost went as far as advertising it as a super doooper x600 with turbo ram.

All the new units with the x600 are like that.... some need a bios update, but they all do that now.
Thanks,
