    Ok going to be purchasing this from www.ncix.com . Dunno which ram i should get, the ram i chose is apparently desktop ram and not notebook ram so i need help. Want something good but affordable. Here is what im looking at for the specs if you think i should change anything let me know. (The ram i included in the specs is the ram i was told is desktop ram and i must change).

    Ram should be PC4200 533mhz 200pin module. The 200pin option should nail it.

    You might want to price match with Atic.ca for the z70va.
    Here its only $990.

    For the ram, you should be buying "sodimm" type.

    Also, I thought that the optical drive had to be for the z70va model line, not the z71... someone else must know for sure..

    Actually the wireless card is not included with either the one with BT or not.

    As for ram, I have would take the cheapest one, in this case, the OCZ.
    Btw, why dont you just buy it directly from Canadasys? It's cheaper there no?

    Memory from Canadasys is very cheap for $76(512MB DDR2 sodimm), 1024MB DDR2 sodimm for $137.
