In an earlier post someone mentioned a list that had all known issues with the series of computers the z70va is from including heat and audio problems. Could someone point me in the direction of that? thanks.

The problem is I can't find it anymore, it was a while ago and I suppose may have been somewhere else.

As a former Z70V user let me write the issues that I remember:

1- Most people were complaining about the excessive heat and sudden failure of the x700 graphics chip. Luckily that was not the case for Z70V which was using an X600.

2- The audio issues were arising due to a problem with the audio jack. The mechanism that blocks the internal speakers when an earphone was plugged had a defect. Even though you unplug the external speaker the internal speakers were still off. This was fixed by replacing the small daughter-board that carries the audio jacks.

These are what I remember from several years ago.

There was also an issue where LCD screens on those models exhibited a red tint and red ghosting.
