    Asus Z70va replacement battery

    I need a replacement battery for my Asus Z7000 laptop. I notice when I look for a Z70 battery they run about $85.00 and a M6 replacement batteries which I thought was the same are about $60.00. Can I use the M6 battery in my z70va? Where the best place to buy them?

    For 15 USD difference, although the two computers are very similar, I would just buy the designated battery. You don't want to deal with any battery incompatibilities for that relatively small amount of money.

    Be aware that since these computers are rather old, the battery replacement themselves may be quite old and may have spent a number of years on the shelf... which means that they can actually be halfway dead. Just a word of caution.

    In North America, I suggest the ASUS eStore or one of the resellers on the Info Booth. Post back if you're located elsewhere.
