    Hi guys, how are doings, am looking for Asus Z7100A DVD/CD-RW Combo that i can use in my Asus notebook.I do not mind if i can use another brand that can fit in my Asus Notebook.So any help regarding where i can buy one will be appreciated. Thank you guys.

    I have a Z71V that I'll be parting out as soon as my M50Vm Arrives (Tomorrow!). The Super-Multi drive on it still works just fine. It's a Toshiba Samsung drive. Model TS-L532A. Will probably post in the BST forum in a few days if you want to wait.

    Don't buy the drives from the ASUS eStore, they are expensive and not worth it. Buy any slim DVD-RW drive, for around 50 EUR/50USD in the US. As long as you make sure that it has clamps in all the right places so that it takes the fascia, bezel (and custom connector if the drive is hotswappable) of the old drive, you should be fine with this one.

    Brands: LG, NEC / Liteon, Sony, Samsung, etc...
