    Just in case someone is interested...

    Whiteheat took apart the Z71V and trying to design a new HSF. The current one doesn't really touches the Z71V memory, there is a 1mm gap.

    The new one is aiming to provide more coverage around the GPU and VRAM. While at the same time, trying to fit in a better airflow fan.

    This will provide better heat dispatch off the GPU/VRAM, thus at the same time slow down the spinning required by the fan.
