I customized an Asus Z71V on www.rjtech.com and www.geared2play.com and found that it was $100 cheaper than www.proportable.com and www.mwave.com. Is there a reason for this price diference?

proportable tends to have higher prices than other shops. They do have good customer service ratings and my brother bought his S5N there and recommends them highly. By no means discrediting the other companies, I think that proportable has built a reputation that allows them to compete with higher prices. Perhaps also they use better components. For example, I know that mwave.com uses lesser quality RAM.
