Im im getting grapical artifacts/bugs such as black lines or spots while running 3dmark03 and 05. Tried multiple games all with graphics problems. Tested Doom3, FEAR, UT2004, HL2, CS-Source, Far Cry etc.. I have all the latest drivers installed i have also tried various 3rd party drivers such as omegadrivers and laptopvideo2go. Still no response from my reseller or from asus. I do have an RMA# but its a waste of time if this model has a common issue with graphic's bugs. I never overclocked the video in fact i tried to underclock but it appears that it is locked by the video bios. Any ideah,s?

The Z81sp doesn't have the best screen...... it's far below the Z70va and even pretty far below the Z71v..... I don't think you should be getting those artifacts while running 3dmark however... so I think you should get it checked out.

Thank you very much. My reseller is Leadcomp.com they had the best price so far. I work for a retail computer store as a service tech pcsforeveryone.com but they don't sell this model and everything is overpriced if you see the website. Anyway i will try the bios and let you know how it works thanks again.

When you do the "detect optimal frequencies" function then click on apply does those new settings stay when you come back to see them later on.

Because on my Z81SP they always come back to default settings.

    Thanks a lot !

P.S. I installed the latest BIOS. The second link up here, it works perfectly.
