    on the asus website, the notebook looks nice black color, is that the color of the unit or is it silver?

    thanks....im building one and im hopin its black.....

    The ones on the site are darker, probably due to the lighting, but if you check the Z96j reviews here, they are that colour.

    Kojack you are correct there is a black Z96js however there is not information regarding that right now.

    So far all Z96j are silver, you can get it painted to a black colour.

    There was a thread about this aobut 2-4 weeks ago, however I just spend 20 minutes looking for it but nothing came up.
