English video by PM of this laptop. Towards the end she says it will start $1899 and start shipping in September. -
That was my first thought as well. Specs-wise, this seems like exactly what I'm looking for, but it's a no-go without a numpad.arkham likes this.

Here's a picture from the other NX500 thread showing the specs:
Looks like it will have room for two SSD drives, but both in the NGFF format. Not sure the point of that. When users want dual storage options, they want the ability to have an SSD for the OS, and then a traditional HDD for lots of storage at a cheaper price point. Having two NGFF SSDs doesn't really make much sense, other than to increase cost. -
I was just about to get an N550JK and this just confirmed my decision.
-
I would have already bought the N550JK if it weren't so thick and bulky.227 likes this.

Holy smokes.
One presenter said it had gddr5.

As does the spec sheet that I posted a picture of a couple posts above yours.

No broadwell? Disappointed.
-
You will see laptops with broadwell CPU in early-mid 2015...Intel is very far from being prepared to public mass launch.

Is the screen IPS or NTSC TN on that one?
-
I also think that this thread could be deleted so we can continue discuss on the other preexisting nx500 thread... Less confusion better integration of ideas imho.

Hu?! Intel CEO himself said broadwell will be available for holiday shopping...
-
At the end of the year, it will be released broadwell CPU for mobile segment, such as tablets, ultrabooks or convertibles...Early 2015 for heavy-power notebooks and mid 2015 for desktop solutions.
