So the yellowish tint issue with the screen is getting reported by numerous members in the forum and it is mentioned by some reviews as well. I'm starting a new thread just to see if we can get some answers on the issue.
I wonder what the issue is. I hope it's just a settings issue and not a hardware one.
Has anyone managed to resolve the issue? I have been playing around the Splendid Utility and changing the color temperature but it just makes it worse.

Bone white here. Man, this machine is a target for perfection...fine tooth combs up in here.

I had a post about it. Just use Windows' color adjustment and move red and green down a notch. The Asus splendid thing made things worse I just removed it all together. -
I had this issue as well and found a fix, just wanted to let you guys know.
Zenbook UX32VD
My symptoms
* 1-2 second after logging in, screen would get a yellow tint.
* Running the "Calibrate Display" and hitting next once, would restore proper color.
* After sleeping and waking up, yellow tint would return.
After a bunch of playing with msconfig, I found the culprit to be the CFMON Asus service.
Fix:
msconfig > startup > disable "CFMON" > restart

Someone else reported that a firmware update also corrected this. I won't go so far as to say the firmware is "faulty", but it sounds like poor factory calibration, at the very least.

If you're up to date, it may just require some calibration on your end. -

Give it a shot and let us know if it resolves anything! Other users reported that the previous update (from 2012.10.11) worked - although this doesn't quite sound like a firmware problem, per se.

If it's noticeably bad even with adjustment, then by all means, send it in or exchange it if you can. It's possible that the screen tint is poorly calibrated, in which case you can only do so much with color profiles.
You could always purchase a spyder too, but those are meant more for enthusiasts/photographers, and they can run quite a bit of $. -

Thanks for sharing. Would anybody know what to do if I don't have "CFMON" in MSConfig > Startup ? -

If you don't have it, then that's a good thing.
ameldgaard - if you're having the same tint problem as OP, uninstall the driver for the monitor in Device Manager, then reboot. Hopefully that resolves it. -
this might help.
it just happened to my zenbook a few minutes ago after my cat jumped on my keyboard so it suddenly turned to yellowish/warm color. so i check on the internet if i could find any solution. i did disable some entries in the startup, etc.. but most of the posted failed to solve the problem. out of my frustration, i right clicked my mouse from the desktop, go to the personalize, click the display and finally click the CALIBRATE COLOR... it turns to normal again...
RIGHT CLICK DESKTOP>PERSONALIZE>DISPLAY>CALIBRATE COLOR
