I was using my laptop and it suddenly completely shut off. I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds but I can't get it to turn on or react at all. I don't see any lights anywhere.

I've already had the power jack replaced once, but I don't remember getting any low battery signals so I don't think it was that.
Also had the screen/hinges replaced once because the hinges broke. The hinges have been exposed this whole time, but I don't see why that would affect the power.
I'm certain my charger still works.

if the computer is powered off and attached to the power charger and theres a blinking red charge indication light, it means the battery is dead and needs replacement.

if theres no light blinking or whatsoever, it might be a problem with the charger or the motherboard.

    Sounds like the motherboard.
