    Hi,

I have an issue with my UX31A. It won't recognise the SSD.

I had a touch screen, 256gb SSD model and broke the screen.

I bought one off eBay - non touchscreen 128gb. It worked perfectly except for the battery.

I put the battery from my old laptop in my new laptop and it works great. I then wanted to swap my 256gb ssd from my old laptop to my new laptop. When i do, it won't boot, goes straight to the BIOS and doesn't recognise the SSD.

I tried the stuff listed in this thread (even though it's a slightly different issue) but it didn't work http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/zenbook-ux32vd-bios-issue-post-213-flash.701504/

Any ideas? What I am trying to do should work right???

    Thanks
    Brad
