    Hi guys,

Have an issue and hoping somebody may be able to help me please - it's for a friend.

He has the Asus GX701GXR machine and the battery that was in there was showing 10% 3 weeks later it's now showing 100%.

So he changed the battery for a brand new OEM one, it worked perfect for 1 day showing 1% wear, but now it's showing 100% wear again and isn't charging the battery from within windows.

Now the charger did break after the first battery and was replaced, I'm wondering if the DC Jack could be faulty and due to no charge being passed through could this be causing the batteries to be flagged as 100% worn?

Currently carried out a Bios reset.
Also removed Windows 10 battery under device manager and restarted.

Has anybody came across this and if so how did you resolve it?

@Mr. Fox @Papusan @ssj92 any idea guys - you guys have had your fair share of laptops over the years
    Kind regards,
