I own a UL50vt which has worked great for a year. I recently bought an Asus 1215B for my wife. It's become a total nightmare. DO NOT BUY ASUS PRODUCTS if you want ANY customer support. We sent the netbook back for a second time and they appear to have STALLED fixing it or sending it back in an effort to get us to accept KNOWN touch pad issues that appear unfixable.
The web is filled with postings addressing the poorly designed touch pad and Asus DENIES this. They will keep you on the phone for hours and seems to have 15 year old kids taking your calls. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!!!
